When approaching cyclists, reduce your speed. This will provide you with more time to react if the rider needs to take evasive action. It’s also important not to tailgate or crowd riders as this can create a hazardous situation for both motorists and cyclists.
Use Your Signals
Always use your signals when turning or changing lanes. This will alert cyclists to your intentions and give them an opportunity to adjust their riding accordingly. Failing to signal can potentially lead to a collision between the cyclist and your vehicle.
