If you're a seasoned roadtripper, it's probably because you know the importance of safety when you're on the road. This list will ensure your next roadtrip goes off safety without a hitch:

1. Bring plenty of water, snacks, and sunscreen. You never know how long your trip will take or what kind of weather you'll encounter on the way. Make sure you have enough water for everyone in your car and some food that doesn't need refrigeration. And don't forget the sunscreen!

2. Pack an emergency kit with first aid supplies, jumper cables, and flashlight or battery-powered lanterns, just in case the car breaks down at night. Flares or reflective triangles are also a must have in the event of a breakdown.

3. You should have a multi-tool for any kind of emergencies. It should include some extra batteries for anything electronic in your car.

4. Have some extra clothes in the car.  You never know what may happen.
